Pale purple flowers with bristly brown centers make the Pale Purple Coneflower an attractive addition to prairies, roadsides and native landscaping. These flowers with droopy heads range from one to three feet tall have long stalks with few branches. A single flower with petals that can reach three-and-a-half inches top each stalk and three- to eight-inch leaves alternate at the base of the stalk.
